Last updated: 2026-05-26 · Effective: 2026-05-26

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited on the Dealer Bosses Service. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund, and we may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to upload, store, or transmit:

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

3. Email Sending

Some plans allow sending email through the Service (e.g. invoices, customer notifications). When you do, you are responsible for ensuring your messages comply with anti-spam laws, including Canada's CASL and (where applicable) the US CAN-SPAM Act. We may impose volume limits or require additional verification before enabling bulk email features.

4. Regulated Industries

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with any laws or regulations specific to your industry (e.g. cannabis retail, firearms sales, alcohol sales). We do not represent that the Service is suitable for any regulated activity, and we may decline service to industries that pose unacceptable legal risk to us, our payment processor, or our infrastructure provider. If your business operates in a regulated industry, contact legal@dealerbosses.com before relying on the Service for compliance-critical workflows.

5. Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability in the Service, please report it to security@dealerbosses.com instead of exploiting it. We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and work with you in good faith to investigate. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who act in good faith, avoid privacy violations, do not exfiltrate data beyond proof-of-concept, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before public disclosure.

6. Enforcement

If we suspect a violation, we may investigate and, depending on severity, take any of the following actions without prior notice: contact you for clarification, temporarily disable specific features, suspend your workspace, terminate your account, retain or remove offending content, or report you to law-enforcement or other authorities. We will generally try to give notice and a chance to remediate when feasible, but reserve the right to act immediately in cases involving illegal content, security threats, or harm to others.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
